We are located at Podere Montale, a 200-hectare estate on the slopes of Monte Amiata, in a particularly cool climate that is excellent for staging events. Within the private property, accessible by internal unpaved roads, are two central cores: the Cantina and the Borgo.
Podere Montale suggests the Borgo as an exclusive location in Tuscany. An ancient village dating back to the 1600s, completely renovated, with swimming pool and restaurant.
The outdoor spaces consist of the arcade, a spacious garden on which to set up tents, the restaurant belvedere overlooking the swimming pool and the stunning panorama of the Tuscan hills at the foot of Monte Amiata.
Inside the farmhouse, we have spacious living rooms with sofas and fireplaces linked to the panoramic terrace, a meeting room, and a service kitchen.
Event guests have the facility to stay in the Borgo’s rooms: 18 accommodations for a total of 48 adults (extendable to 57 adults).
The spaces are ideal for wedding banquets and the location is accredited for civil ceremonies.
The in-house restaurant is specialised in providing catering services for events.
The Borgo di Podere Montale is the ideal charming venue in the heart of Tuscany for an event in perfect Italian style. The surrounding hilly area forms the slopes of Monte Amiata and enjoys a magnificent view of the Val d’Orcia.
Podere Montale provides a list of accredited wedding/event planners who take care of every detail by qualified and tested professionals over the years.
The catering service is provided by Podere Montale’s in-house restaurant.
The Borgo’s facilities are connected by an old stone paved country road, which passes in front of a fully restored antique oven dating back to the 16th century: fully functional, it can be used as a welcome point for guests, for checking in at the event, for a glass of wine and a typical Tuscan schiaccia, freshly baked.
The Borgo has a large free car park for 30 cars.
The second main heart of the estate is the Winery, where guests can take part in wine and local product tastings, book experiences and things to do during their stay, take part in aperitifs in the vineyard, jeep excursions to discover the estate and trekking to the private banks of the river at the edge of the property.
With our proposal, you will invite your guests to your event and offer them a true authentic Tuscan holiday, with a plan of activities to do during their stay, including wine and food tasting and excursions to the nearby towns of Montalcino, Siena, Montepulciano and many others
Podere Montale is located in Seggiano, in the province of Grosseto.
The property is easily reachable from the main Italian cities.
Podere Montale is easily reached by car, in about two hours from Florence and an hour and a half from Siena.
Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport is the closest.
Upon request, it is possible to travel by public transport to Paganico and to organise a private transport service from Florence to Paganico to Podere Montale.
